Every business starts with an idea. Our idea hit us in the end of 2005 when we thought that the Philippines could use a dedicated photography magazine. We were discouraged by many not to do it, but we trusted our instincts and launched Digital Photographer Philippines by June 2006. We didn't stop there. Having caught the publishing bug, we released Golf Punk by the end of 2007 (ceashed publishing 2010). Two titles were added in 2008, iCreate and Wedding Belle. By mid 2009, Junior was released and a year later we added the Lonely Planet to our portfolio of titles.
Magazine publishing is a difficult industry but a very satisfying one. As much as the magazine industry is saturated in the Philippines, we keep looking for opportunities. We have found our niche but once we find a new one, you can expect Bella Luce to fill it.
